LAB-gated Resources under the short-video sidebar: imports local clips into a library, browses second-level slices (60-second grid, ~1 s per cell), and previews a selected second. Landscape/portrait switches 5-row / 8-row layouts. Drop or add mov / mp4 / m4v. Format conversion and export follow the shipped UI. Story and Rehearsal live under Create & deliver.
With LAB visibility: Sidebar Short video → Resources; add or drop video → select an item → change minutes → tap a cell to preview the slice; convert/export formats when available.
Material slices
After selecting a clip, the main pane pages by minute with a ~60-second cell wall (~1 s per cell). Move prev/next minute or jump via minute chips; tap a cell for a one-second preview. Optional second-number labels. Portrait uses 5 rows; landscape uses 8 (by aspect ratio).
Formats and conversion
Add or drop videos into the library; import currently supports mov / mp4 / m4v. Other containers/codecs need format conversion before import (convert/export entry points follow the shipped Mac UI). Unreadable files show an import alert.
- Import: Add videos… or drop onto the list.
- Slices: select clip → minute bar → second grid → preview.
- Formats: prefer mov / mp4 / m4v; convert first if needed.
